Well it seems like the only Millennium Bug
was Influenza,
Computer Virus,
Computer Rush
Was it one big con?
Was it an economical money
making program?
Maybe
But one thing is Millennium Bug
has opened people's eyes,
it's a warning
Imagine, say good gosh,
what's gonna happen
when the computers really crash
And you can't get no food,
and all of the banks won't
give you no cash
Me say sooner or later,
you're gonna have to get in
touch with your cre ator
I'm not a computer hater,
but I can see it all going
right back to nature
It was the 31st of December 1159,
in the year they call 1999
Everybody's starting the
countdown
Waiting for the year 2000 fi come
While they were partying,
have been a while time
The millennium bug
was at the back of their mind
Nothing really happened this time
But take it as a warning,
take it as a sign
We're losing the human touch
Depending on computers
much too much
We're losing the human touch
Depending on computer
s much too much too much
Even though no planes
never dropped out of the skies
And there was no interruption
in electric supplies
This bug shoulda make you realise
How much the computer
is running our lives
Say good gosh,
what's gonna happen
when the computers really crash?
And you can't get no food
And all of your banks won't
give you no cash
Come here say sooner or later
You're gonna have to get in
touch with your creator
I'm not a computer hater,
but I can see it going back
to old pen and paper
I know computer s help
a lot in a technology,
and have made a lot
of progress scientifically
But there's one thing I know,
and I'm sure you'll agree
They shouldn't control the community
Control your gas, control your water,
your electricity
Control your food, control your job,
control your money
Any little thing go wrong
could cause a catastrophe
Could I even cause World War 3?
Say good gosh,
what's gonna happen
when the computers really crash?
And you can't get no food,
and all of the banks won't
give no cash
Come and say sooner or later,
you're gonna have to get in
touch with your creator
I'm not a computer hater,
but I can see it all going
right back to nature
Pen and paper,
now we're going down
the computer road
What happen when the
internet overload?
Computer ages is climbing
While the natural resources
of the earth are declining
Are we concentrating on
the right thing?
Without nature
these computers will not be working
More computers,
more unemployment
We'll lose in touch with
the environment
We're losing the human touch
Dependent on computers
much too much
We're losing the human touch
Dependent on computers
much too much, too much
Hold on a bit, I'm not a hypocrite
I know they use computers
nowadays to make a lot of music
But it's not in control,
this is how we use it
We use it like a metronome
with a human twist
With some human chords,
with some human licks
With some human voices
and some human lyrics
Put it on master take to
sound sweet and crisp
Then give it to the mad professor
for a human mix
Say good gosh,
what's gonna happen
when the computers really crash?
And you can't get no food,
and all of the banks won't
give you no cash
Com ing say sooner or later,
you're gonna have to get in
touch with your cre ator
I'm not a computer hater,
but I can see it all going for
ward to nature
Say good gosh,
what's gonna happen
when the computers really crash?
And you can't get no food
And all of the banks won't
give you no cash
Come and say sooner or later
You're gonna have to get in touch
with your creator
I'm not a computer hater
But I can see it all going
right back to nature
Pen and paper
