Now here's an interesting little song that I
learned when I was out in the foothills of
Kansas a long time ago.
And it's all about something just about everybody seems
to do at one time or another, and it goes like this.
It's funny, yes it's funny,
so funny don't you see
How we all laugh at funny thing s,
laugh so differently
Now some laugh ha, and some laugh ho, and some laugh tee -hee -hee,
some giggle high, some chuckle low, some wiggle silently.
Yes, some laugh loud, and some laugh soft,
and some will clap with glee.
Some close their eyes, and hold their sight,
while somehow tearfully,
It's funny, yes, it's funny,
so funny, don't you see,
How we all laugh at funny things,
laugh so differently.
Some laugh up, and some laugh down,
and some rock to and fro.
Some slap their brow,
and stamp their feet.
Some say, well, what do you know?
what do you know?
Some turn around, and some fall down,
and some get carried
on.
Some leave without and just go out.
Some laugh and tell the con.
It's funny, yes, it's funny,
so funny, don't you see?
Now we all laugh at funny things,
but laugh so differently.
Chuckle or howl, giggle or hiss,
we laugh so differently.
What's so funny?
You had to be there.
Oh.
There.
